I need help choosing the right spring for the wastegate, im planing to run 23 psi
should i use a spring combination whit the exact psi that i want to run or use a lower psi spring and then use a
boost controller to set the psi that i want.
The ideal situation would be a spring combination around 1/2 to 3/4 your desired boost and use a boost controller to dial it in perfect.
If you tried to run a 21 PSI spring combination, your boost would spike past it by a few pounds and then settle back in but it is all dependant on the turbo sizing and motor combination. It is hard to run a specific boost pressure with springs only.
